The ENCOUNTER is a family.

Through shared experiences of God’s provision and His goodness, the staff at our Colorado Christian summer camp for teens have come to love, encourage and support each other in powerful ways. We come from different backgrounds and ideals…but our continual desire to know who God is and walk in relationship with Him has defined our purpose. We have a passion to see this generation encounter the living God.

Our program (formerly SEP Rockies) started as a Christ-focused, activity based, week long epic Christian summer camp for teens in the heart of the Colorado Rockies. Every year, hundreds of campers and staff come together at our Colorado based youth church camp to experience an indescribable week of fun and fellowship and create bonds that last a lifetime. In a world that continues to require our kids to mature faster and struggle through new challenges every day, giving teenagers solid foundational principles to latch on to is more needed than ever. The ENCOUNTER in Colorado serves as a Christian summer camp for teens that’s a week-long heart transplant for our kids. This camping experience renews our teens with a much needed perspective and desire for the good things God has in store for their lives.
